As a child growing up, which club was your favourite?
My favourite club was Manchester United because
they gave all their young English players a chance.
Players like Beckham, Pocho, Ryan Giggs,
Phillip Neville, and Gary Neville.
Do you have a soccer favourite or idol?
-Yes I do have a soccer favourite it’s Pele`, Maradona,
but from this generation it would have to be
Ronaldinho.The reason for that choice is because
he’s unbelievable.You need to watch him play he is
unbelievable. It is hard to immolate the way he plays.

Aboutrika uncrownd African footballer for many years
Mohamed Aboutrika was never assigned the number 22 shirt. He didn’t stumble upon it, either. Each step the 30-year-old has taken in his career has been intentional. And this seemingly insignificant decision is no exception.
“Before deciding which number to pick, I went on a pilgrimage to Mecca,” he explains. “While I was walking between As-Saafa and Al-Marwah mountains, I saw the gate number 22 that the Prophet used to pass through, and that’s why I decided to choose that number.

Can you tell us a little about South Africa, what are the people like?
-- The most attractive thing about South Africa is the people and their friendliness and hospitality. It is a very diverse culture. It is referred to as the Rainbow Nation. In that sense I think we have a strong affiliate with Canada because of Canada’s multi-cultural and diverse society. South Africa is multi-cultural and multi-lingual, we have eleven official Languages. We have English and African as the dominant languages.
