CAF Champions league final: Heartland vs TP Mazembe - October 30,2009

  The final of this year CAF Champions League is between Heartland FC of Nigeria and TP Mazembe FC of DR of Congo. While the Heartland Football Club is playing it first ever Champions league Final and attempt to be the second team from Nigeria to win Africa most prized club trophy. Enyimba football Club of Aba became the first Nigeria team to win the championship and they did in style winning it back to back in 2003and 2004.

On the other hand TP Mazembe Football Club are not new to the situation as they have been crowned twice as Africa champions in 1967 and 1968.

The battle line has been drawn and on Sunday the 1^st of November 2009 at the Dan Ayiam Stadium in Owerri hostilities will commence as who will be crowned the next CAF Champions League king. The return leg is schedule for 5^th November 2009 in Lubumbashi.

The Champion will go home with $1.5 million US and a ticket to represent Africa in FIFA World Club Championship that will take place in December 2009 in UAE.
